Happy Shoesday Tuesday, y’all! I’m starting to take out my sandals from storage as Texas is quickly heating up. I know this isn’t the case for all of you, but it’s always fun to go sandal shopping! I’m sharing my favorite sandals for the summer here in this post, and a trend that I am starting to get on board with!
Studs have been “in” for awhile now, but I’ve recently taken a liking to them! Whenever I think of studs in fashion, I think of edgy and tough, but recently, I have been seeing a lot of studded accessories that do not match that description! Take these two pairs of sandals pictured above, for example. I am in love with both pairs, and I would say they definitely add a statement to any outfit, but not in an overly-edgy way!

Another trend that I’m glad is back is the platform sandal! This is another trend that I was “iffy” about last summer, but once I tried a pair on, I was hooked. These are incredibly comfortable and add a little something to an otherwise laid-back look!

Last but certainly not least are the classic flip-flop. Every girl needs multiple pairs in her closet; some nicer and then those everyday, throw on and run-out-the-door flip flops. These Target nude flip flops are a great find for this summer! They come in multiple colors and are so comfortable with a cushioned bottom. The best part: they’re only $10! The Tory Burch Miller is a classic, and I love this gold color to wear with sundresses. There is no doubt these are a comfortable sandal, and there is no wonder why these keep coming back every year. However, they are definitely expensive, so I have linked some dupes that I think will be just as great!
All in all, I definitely need to expand my sandal options, especially now that I live in a state that is hot 75% of the year! I will continue to share cute and affordable sandals through my Instagram as I find them!
