February Favorites

Hey y’all! I don’t know about you, but February absolutely FLEW by! I was kind of expecting it to be like January, which felt like an entire year itself, but that was just not the case. I feel like I never got to catch my breath in February!

Although this post is about my February favorites, I am including some products that I began using in January, but have come to absolutely love in February! You can shop all of these products through my liketoknow.it account, and can find this through the links that are included throughout the post!

  1. Drybar Mudslide Mask

First and foremost, this mask is LIFE. And I don’t say this lightly. I have used the Moroccan Oil and Pureology masks interchangeably for years, and almost feel like my hair just became used to these. I continued to use these once-twice a week, but noticed that there weren’t any changes in my hair. I was no longer seeing the silky smooth hair that I once had after using these masks, and my hair was still feeling dull and dry.

So, I set out for a new mask to transform my hair once again. And wa-la, enter the Drybar Mudslide Mask. This mask has honestly transformed the texture of my hair. I use this mask once a week in place of my normal conditioner and can feel the softness throughout the week! Not to mention, it smells amazing! If you are in the market for a new hair mask, I definitely recommend this one!

2. Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate

So, I know that I already shared this in my Nighttime Skincare Routine post, but it’s so good, I’m sharing twice! This oil has seriously helped my dry, winter skin. After I wash my face and use my toner, I apply this all over my face and neck. When I wake up, my skin feels hydrated and and super smooth! This product seriously changes my skin overnight, and although it is pricey, I can tell that it will last awhile. It is definitely worth the money!

3. Madewell 10″ Rise Skinny Jean

I never knew I could be as in love with a pair of jeans as I am with this pair. I absolutely HATE shopping for jeans. I’m petite and have a strange body shape (I need jeans that will fit over the hips, but then they end up being huge in the waist!). I have seen these jeans all over social media, but everyone wearing them looks so teeny tiny I figure they will never work for me! However, I bit the bullet one day while shopping and had a “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” jeans moment. These jeans fit perfectly, and not only that, are comfortable. I never even knew jeans could be comfortable! Although these jeans are pricey, they are a staple that will last years and now that I’ve experienced this magic for myself, can say they are definitely worth the price! (wearing Hayes wash).

4. Abercrombie Colorblock Sweatshirt

I purchased this sweatshirt in the white and pink combo back in the fall, and it is the perfect go-to cozy sweatshirt. I saw this pink combo for the spring and absolutely had to have it! I love the shades of pink and it is perfect to throw on with jeans or leggings, it is so versatile! Trust me when I say this is one of the softest sweatshirts you will ever own! Plus, there are so many color combinations on their website right now!

5. Stila “Lillium” Blush

Cream blush can be iffy, but not this one! I actually found this product through my mama, who has been using this for awhile. I was back in Ohio and had forgotten my bronzer/blush combo, so snagged hers to borrow. I absolutely love this blush! This color is so pretty and will work with so many skin tones, but what I love about it is the texture. It is easy to blend and looks super natural on. Plus, it also adds some shine and really makes your skin glow!

6. H&M Sneakers

H&M definitely has some hidden treasures, and these sneakers are one of them! They’re similar to the designer sneakers that are on-trend this season, but a fraction of the cost. I love the neutral glitter/snakeskin stripes to elevate the look as opposed to plain white sneakers. Not to mention these are super comfortable!

7. Hair Ties

I’m all for the scrunchie trend, but recently have been loving the scarf/hair tie trend! My hair stylist took a ribbon and tied it in my hair like above, and I’ve been obsessed with this look ever since. Amazon has so many packs of cute hair ties in different colors and patterns that can be perfect for any occasion! It’s the perfect way to elevate an ordinary hairstyle, or throw in your hair while sitting in traffic!
