Happy Sunday, friends! A few weeks ago, I polled my Instagram followers to see what you would like to see more of this year, and I had quite a few responses requesting teacher/business casual outfits. Although I’m working from home now, it is so hard for me to shop and not think, “Oh, I could wear that to teach!”. It’s a habit! So, I’m happy to continue to share realistic teacher outfits with you all, many of which are considered business casual. I emphasis “realistic” teacher outfits because as a former teacher, I’m well aware that not everything is meant for the classroom! For example, we all know that it’s nearly impossible (I say nearly, because I know a few teacher who did this…) wear three inch heels while chasing kids around all day! Additionally, I know that each school is different in terms of teacher dress code, but each school I ever worked in always required professional dress, with jeans allowed on Friday’s. The majority of my outfits that I share will be business casual!
I decided to start this Sunday series where I will share teacher outfits for the week. You may seem some repeats, which I hope you don’t mind. One criticism I hear (not about myself, but the influencer world in general), is how unrealistic it is for most people to never repeat an outfit. I get that! I wore a lot of the same pieces over and over in the classroom, so I’m happy to share pieces that will be perfect for you to wear throughout the seasons.
