Happy New Year, friends! I hope you enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing holiday season with your loved ones. After a few weeks back home in Ohio, I’m back in Dallas and ready to jump into this new year!
My credit card statement would agree that I tried a lot of new things this year! It’s safe to say that I was easily influenced on quite a few products, but I have to say, I loved a lot of what I tried this year! Quite a few of the products have become staple items for me, and I’m excited to share those with you today. Medical Grade Skincare
If you follow along on Instagram, then you know my love for Ovme and my testimony on how much my skin has changed since receiving regular treatments and consulting on my skincare. I’ve worked closely with my aesthetician to curate a skincare regime that works best for me, and I have to admit, my skin looks better at 28 than it did at 22! I have loved every product that I’ve tried from both SkinMedica and SkinCeuticals. Although they are expensive, I can attest that the products last a long time (I get at least 3 months use from each product, if not many more). I have my whole skincare routine from these products linked in the photos. From SkinMedica, I use the TNS (growth factor), Lytera (pigment corrector), HA5 (hyaluronic acid), retinol complex, and their SPF. I use the CE Ferulic (Vitamin C serum) and eye complex from SkinCeuticals.
Equilibria CBD Sleep Gummies
I have been using Equilibria CBD for a little over a year now, but the sleep gummies were new to me this year! I truly sleep like a baby when I use this (which is every night). Alo Half Crew Socks
I can’t believe I’m putting socks on my favorite things list, but these truly are such good quality! I ordered three pairs as apart of their cyber week sale for their look, not expecting the incredible quality they are! These socks are the perfect height (in my opinion, they’re perfect to pair with the ultra mini Uggs that are trending!), thick, and soft!
Colleen Rothschild Quench & Shine Resorative Hair Mask
This is hands down the BEST hair mask I have ever used! Hair and skincare are different for everyone, so I can only speak for myself and my very fine, colored hair when describing this product. First of all, this mask smells amazing. I leave this in for 5-10 minutes after shampooing my hair once a week, and it leaves my hair soft, shiny, and manageable. My hair truly has never been so soft since using this mask!
Amazon Active Tank
I love this tank so much, I officially own it in all colors! It is a dupe for the Lululemon Ebb to Street tank, but personally, I like this one better! The tank includes a built-in bra with cups. I think the Amazon version offers a little more give than the Lululemon one, and I just feel more comfortable working out in this one. I wear a size 4!
Rare Beauty Tinted Moisturizer
To be fair, I love all Rare Beauty products, but the tinted moisturizer has a serious chokehold on me. It is the perfect everyday “no makeup makeup” product; it blends beautifully, isn’t full coverage but is enough coverage, and has SPF 20! I wear shade 26W.
Kosas Concealer and Foundation
Another beauty brand favorite of 2022 is Kosas! This brand was new to me, but I was influenced to try these products after seeing it all over social media. Again, everyone’s skin is different, but these products just melt into my skin and make it look flawless! The concealer is creamy and blends so well, while the foundation is hydrating and looks so natural. I fell in love with these products for their quality and the way they make my skin glow, but really love that this is a clean beauty brand! I wear shade 150 in the foundation and 2.5 in the concealer.
Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Drops
I’m just going to make it clear that I’ve been using these since way before the overnight celebrity Alix Earle mentioned these on her social media, lol! I use this every single day with my moisturizer. It provides a gorgeous, subtle glow and protects your skin from pollutants. A little goes a long way with this!
Lululemon Pace Rival Mid-Rise Skort
Last but certainly not least is this skort from Lululemon. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I wore this skirt every day this summer! I own it in four colors; it is so comfortable, has a pocket in the shorts underneath, and is perfect for warm weather! I wear a size 4.
