If you’re like me, then fall is your favorite season. However, I love to give each season their time (with the exception of winter, that can be shorter!). Although I may be ready for cozy candles, cardigans, and pumpkin spice lattes, the weather in Texas definitely is not. It’s going to be hot here (and when I say hot, I mean at least 90 degrees) through October, so I have to find other ways to dress for fall without the heavy cardigan! I’ve styled three different looks that you can replicate if you are in the same boat. On each photo, I’ve linked exact or similar items, and lots of options! Be sure to check them out! *all links are commissionable.
Transition Dresses
Dresses are the easiest way to dress for fall when it’s still hot out and you don’t want to worry about fussing with your look all day! When looking for fall dresses, stick to fall colors like this gorgeous rust, burgundy, earthy greens and deep neutrals. They will be easy to pair with cardigans or a denim jacket and can be dressed up or down with different shoes!
Bodysuits and a Hat
Let’s face it, adding a wide brim hat to any look automatically makes it fall approved! This look screams fall, but is also approved for 90 degree weather. This bodysuit is super lightweight, and this look is so easy! You can easily pair this with shorts instead of a skirt and sneakers instead of booties! *Different hat options linked in the photo above!
Graphic Tees and Skirts
Graphic tees are super trendy right now, and that isn’t changing anytime soon! I love throwing on a graphic tee with shorts or a skirt when it’s hot out. The great thing about graphic tees is they come in so many colors and styles, you can easily choose one that seems more “fall”! For example, this neutral Queen graphic tee can be paired with so many other pieces, like this orange skirt, but I could also pair it with a plaid skirt or denim! The possibilities are endless!
