Well, it’s that time of year again, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I shared a bit on Instagram about the sale, but I’m going to share this post with you all as a place to reference throughout this sale. To be honest, I am shopping very minimally this year for a few reasons: one, my closet does not have many “gaps” at the moment, meaning that I feel that I have a good supply of jeans, tees, jackets, booties, etc. that I have purchased over the past few years that are still in style and great shape! Another reason why I am shopping minimally this year is because I realized quite quickly last year that no matter how much I hope for fall weather in Texas, it really won’t come until the end of October. Even if I buy all of these sweaters now on sale, I won’t be able to wear them for awhile, and by the time it is actually cool enough to wear them in Texas, they will be on sale again! However, there are still plenty of great finds and deals in the Nordstrom sale this year that I am excited to share with you!
First, let’s get into the details. If you are new to this sale, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale happens once a year towards the end of summer that previews trends for the fall and offers early discounts on fall and winter clothing that you normally wouldn’t get until the end the season. The sale includes women’s, mens and childrens clothing and shoes, as well as beauty and some home products! If you are a Nordstrom card holder, you get to shop the sale early! Nordstrom staggers who can shop the sale at different times, so based on your status depends on when you get to shop. I personally do not have the Nordstrom credit card, so I will shop with the general public. Below are the dates on when you can shop!
Next, I’m going to share what is on my wish list this year! If you are new, you can sign up for a free Nordstrom rewards account and create a wish list of all of your favorite items. - Platform Converse. I always wear my white Converse, always. Being short, this platform version of my favorite shoe will be marvelous!
- Barefoot Dreams longline cardigan. Last year during the sale, I was able to snag the circle cardigan and I absolutely love it. I wear it to work, running errands, or just lounging around the house. It is so soft. This year, I would really love to be able to grab one in the long-line design!
- Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate. I use this every single night, this is definitely one product I cannot live without! This is my everyday nighttime serum. The large bottle is on sale for $45 off during the Nordstrom sale, so it is a great chance for me to stock up on this product since it rarely goes on sale!
- Tory Burch crossbody. I am looking to replace an old black crossbody that I have in my closet, and this is almost $100 off!
- Adidas Ivory Leopard Sneaker. I love Adidas for walking, running errands, etc. This leopard pattern is too cute!
- Steve Madden Tangible Sandal. These will be on sale for $80 during the sale, normally $130. This is a great heel that will carry me through seasons, especially in Texas when it stays hot well into the fall!
Next, I’m going to share other pieces that I think are really good buys during the sale! Again, if you are interested in any of the pieces, you can click on the photos to shop!
- Madewell 9 inch skinny jeans. I personally love Madewell jeans: they’re incredible quality and fit my body really well. They will hold up for years! If you are in need of jeans, I definitely recommend trying these. These will be $50 off during the sale, which is honestly a really great deal because Madewell rarely puts jeans on sale!
- Barbour Quilted Jacket. Barbour is a really good brand for quality jackets. I love the look of this quilted jacket as an everyday fall/winter jacket. It will be $60 off during the sale, just less than $100!
- Halogen camisole. This cami will only be $23 during the sale and comes in multiple colors. Cami’s like these are great staple pieces to have in your closet!
- Nordstrom Lingerie Moonlight Pajamas. I have these in light pink and have to admit, they are some of the softest pajamas I have ever worn! They will be on sale for $35.90 during the sale and will last you all fall, winter and spring!
- Zella Live-In High Waist Leggings. These are incredible everyday leggings. If you are looking for a good quality pair of leggings to wear every day, these are them! I have a few pairs of these that I wear throughout the fall and winter. I wear my normal size XS. These will be on sale for $38.90 during the sale.
- Gibsonlook Fleece Joggers. I have two pairs of Gibonlook joggers, and they are so soft. I love the adorable tie waist on these, and they come in so many colors! These will be on sale for $34.90 during the sale.
- BLANKNYC Faux Leather Skirt. Leather and faux leather are definitely still on trend this year, and this skirt will be perfect to pair with so many looks during the fall and winter. BLANKNYC is a really great brand, and this skirt will be on sale for $39.90 during the sale.
- Spanx Faux Leather Leggings. I purchased these two years ago and absolutely love them. They are so versatile: you can wear with sneakers and a sweater, or booties and a suede jacket. They elevate any look and are so comfortable! I sized up to a size small in these. They will be on sale for $64.90 during the sale.
- Marc Fisher Gadri Pointed Toe Booties. I love the lighter shade of these booties! Marc Fisher makes incredible quality shoes; I purchased booties last year and they are still like brand new! These also come in suede options and lots of colors. These will be on sale for $99.90 during the sale, and will be back to $189 after the sale!
- Nike Leopard Sneakers. Just like my wish list, these Nike leopard sneaks are too cute! Great to wear working out, or to elevate a loungewear look! These will be on sale for $74.90 during the sale.
- Sperry Crest Vibe Platform Sneaker. I absolutely love Sperry sneakers because they have memory foam in the soles, and are so, so comfortable. These also come in a few colors and will be $49.90 during the sale.
- Tory Burch Sneakers. I purchased last year’s version of these and love them. They are still in incredible shape and go with everything! These will be on sale for $149.90 during the sale, and will go back up to $228 after the sale.
- Hunter Boots. These are a one-time investment because they will literally last you the rest of your life. Hunter boots run large, I have a size 5 in mine but I normally wear a 6, so I suggest sizing down! These will be on sale for $99.90 during the sale.
- BP Western Mule. If you’re looking for a “trendy” shoe without breaking the bank, these are a great option this year! I love the western style mule for this fall, and these will only be $39.90 during the sale!
- Treasure and Bond Over the Knee Boot. This style is not going anywhere anytime soon! The Nordstrom sale is a great time to get trendy boots at a great price. These will be $99.90 during the sale, and come in multiple colors!
- T3 1-1/4 inch wand. I got the t3 wand two years ago for my birthday, and I absolutely love it. I curl my hair quite a bit, and I definitely notice that my hair has become less damaged over time since using this wand over others! This will be on sale for $99.90 during the sale.
- Glamglow Supermud Mask. mega size + travel size. If you follow me on Instagram and have been following me for awhile, you know that this is one of my all-time favorite masks. This mask literally pulls all of the gunk and impurities out of your pores and leaves you with baby-soft skin. This will be on sale for $69 during the sale, which is an incredible deal considering the mega size on it’s own is usually $100!
- Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo. Again, if you have been following me for awhile, you know that this is a staple product for me. Personally, I love this dry shampoo because I only have to use it once and I’m good for 2-3 days without having to reapply! The jumbo size of this definitely does not go to waste for me! This will be on sale for $34 during the sale.
- L’Occitane Lavande Hand Soap and Lotion. L’Occitane is such a luxurious brand, and I absolutely adore their lavender scented products. They smell like a true lavender plant! This duo will be on sale for $34 during the sale.
- Moroccan Oil Hair Treatments. I use this Moroccanoil treatment both on dry hair as a pre-shower mask, and on damp hair to smooth my hair and make it so soft. This set comes with a full-size bottle, travel size, and a packet of one of their best hair masks! This will be $44 during the sale.
Okay friends, that’s all I have for you for now! Remember, you absolutely do not need anything from the Nordstrom sale. It is an event that happens every year that presents trends for the upcoming seasons and some great sales, but at the end of the day, all of these items will go on sale again. My biggest piece of advice is to look for the gaps in your closet. Are you in need of jeans, booties, tennis shoes, tees, or leggings? Whatever it is that your closet is missing, now is a great time to browse items that may fit those gaps. From there, if you have the means to shop for “fun” items that you don’t necessarily absolutely need, but would like to have, then the sale is also a great time to do that!
