When it comes to gifts, home office supplies isn’t exactly the most exciting things. However, 2020 is a whole different kind of year, and I bet that there are lots of people out there who would love a new desk chair, or something to help keep them organized while working from home. To be honest, this gift guide is inspired by Alex, who asked for a desk chair for Christmas. His company will not be returning to the office until at least June, which means about 7 more months of working from home. He hates the kitchen chair that he is stuck sitting in all day, and I can’t blame him! His request had me thinking that there are so many people still working from home, so this is a great chance to brighten up their home office space!
I thought back to March, when I was told that I would be teaching completely virtually and from home. Let’s be honest, all of our lives were flipped upside down. Trying to teach middle schoolers in a tiny apartment was less than ideal. The dresser in our guest bedroom became my desk, and it was horrible. Adding any little touch that can help create a dedicated office space in a home can make the world of difference, so I figured I would round up some items that I would find useful while working from home for the loved ones in your life!
The last photo includes an under desk bike pedal and elliptical pedals. When I found these, I thought these were genius! It is SO hard to sit still at a desk all day, so these are great options for anyone who is active! I also included a desk chair massager which would be so nice, since we all know sitting in a chair all day can make your muscles stiff!
