Hey y’all! I’m not going to lie, a few years ago, purses and bags were the last of my worries. I was totally fine just having one black and one brown tote, and using that with every outfit! Thank goodness I am out of that phase, because bags can be the perfect accessory to make or break an outfit. One trend I have come to absolutely love is the straw bag. I love how many different varieties there are; from the size, shape, color, and design, there is a straw bag for everyone and every outfit! I’m going to share some of the ones I personally own here, as well as some that I have seen and love! You can click on the links to see all of the bags that I have found in different price points!
I’ll start with the smallest, and move to the largest! So, here we have the straw clutch. I never knew I needed a straw clutch until they started popping up on my Pinterest feed, and the more I saw this bag paired with summer outfits, the more I fell in love with the look! I love this clutch from Target because it’s affordable, but it is also really good quality! The inside is lined, and this clutch holds all I need: cards, lipgloss, keys, phone. It’s perfect to pair when going out on the town this summer!
Next is the straw crossbody. I probably ordered at least five different crossbodies last summer before finding one that I loved. My issue with this version of the straw bag is that so many of them have very limited room inside. If I’m carrying a crossbody, I want to be able to throw my wallet in there. My wallet is not that large, and with a lot of these bags, it would not fit! I’m so happy that I found this one from Mint Julep Boutique because it has plenty of room inside! I love the lighter color, and the contrasting darker strap. I have linked more that I love here!
Last are our larger straw bags, you know, the ones that can fit everything plus the kitchen sink! This bag is not super large, but makes the perfect size for wearing with everyday activities! I ordered this on Amazon and am so pleasantly surprised with this! It is less than $30 and great quality.

I do not own any of these bags, but I need to order one ASAP! These large straw totes make perfect beach or pool bags, and will hold everything you need for the occasion. I love how you can even customize some of these to have your monogram, initials, etc.! A personalized straw tote would make the perfect gift for any bride going on a tropical honeymoon or bachelorette party!
