Wedding planning is so overwhelming, and Save the Dates are no exception. I knew I did not want to spend an arm and a leg on our Save the Dates, since I would rather spend more on the formal invitations, which left me with some online options. I had heard wonderful things about Shutterfly, Zola and Minted, but in the end, we decided to work with Minted for our Save the Dates.
Minted has thousands of styles to choose from for every bride; from traditional to modern, there is surely a style that everyone will love! What I also loved about Minted is that I could customize our Save the Dates to make them match our theme. Font choices and colors for fonts are some of the things you are able to choose when designing your Save the Dates through Minted!
On the back of our Save the Date, we included information for our wedding website. I wanted to include this early enough for our guests to be able to view our room block through the hotel, but also plan their trip to Ohio (the wedding is in Ohio since that is where I am from and most of my family still is, but we have a lot of out-of-town guests attending!). Adding additional text on the back of the Save the Date was a small cost, and turned out perfect!
I had so much fun designing our Save the Dates, trying different styles, fonts, and colors. When our order came in the mail, I was so pleasantly surprised! I knew they were going to look amazing, but y’all, the quality was like if I had spent twice of what I actually had. The cards were thick cardstock and the printing was absolute perfection! As an added bonus, Minted allowed me to import my guest list, and they addressed all of the envelopes for free! This was such a life saver for two reasons: one, taking the time to write all those addresses would be so time consuming! Two: I wanted the envelopes to look formal, and I was able to choose the lettering on the envelopes to make my vision come to life.
Overall, I really enjoyed my experience using Minted for our Save the Dates. I highly recommend any friend who is engaged and looking for Save the Date recommendations to check out Minted! There is a style for everyone and they are so reasonably priced for all that is included!
