Happy Monday, friend! The Kentucky Derby always falls on the first Saturday in May, and this year the Derby is extra special because it is celebrating 150 years! I lived in Louisville for three years, and was fortunate enough to attend Derby the three years I was there. It is such a special experience; the pomp and circumstance of it all are truly something everyone should experience. I think what I love most about the Kentucky Derby is how the rich tradition of the event are kept sacred; from the big hats to wearing pink on the Friday before, you can always count on the Derby being the fabulous experience that it always is!
