I absolutely love the blazer trend, and I hope that it is one that sticks around for awhile! I personally think that adding a blazer to any look just makes it look much more chic, professional, and put-together. I remember when I was younger and my mom and I would go shopping; we would walk through the department stores and she would always say, “I should have kept my clothes from the 70’s and 80’s”! Honestly, I wish she had, because I would love some of her vintage plaid blazers right now!
I have a few blazers in my wardrobe, but am always looking to add more! I have styled the blazers that I have in four different ways here as inspiration for you to style yours! I have also linked quite a few blazer options here: patterned, plaid, solid, and at all different price points!
Jeans and a Blazer
This is such a classic, versatile look because you can throw on literally any pair of jeans, add any top or blouse, pair it with a blazer, and you’ve got yourself a look!
The Work Look
Pant suits are back, and I’m here for it. While I don’t own an actual pant suit, I do love pairing a blazer with my classic black pants for work. What I love about this trend is that you don’t need a full pant suit, it is so common to see any blazer paired with a solid pant these days!
Blazer with Skirts
Mini, midi or maxi: a blazer looks great with it all! Go for a casual look with a tee, midi skirt and sneakers; or a more elevated look with some heels and a blouse!
Blazer and Leggings
I absolutely love finding ways to style my Spanx faux leather leggings, and pairing them with a blazer is one of my favorite ways! Again, this look is so versatile. You can pair your leggings with sneakers, a graphic tee and a blazer, or with booties and a blouse!
